Beauty can be seen in all things, seeing and composing the beauty is

what separates the snapshot from the photograph.  -Matt Hardy

Anyone can snap a picture, but finding heart and capturing love that's where I come in.

I was the girl who had a camera put into her hands at thirteen and felt the world shift a little. Photography has been a passion of mine that is constantly transforming and reshaping my life in ways I never thought possible.

Documenting peoples love over time and being able to follow people as they transition through one part of life to another is something I love most about this job. As the sun comes through my window each morning and I ready for the new day, I am always reminded of my favorite quote from Matt Hardy: "Beauty can be seen in all things, seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph."

Whether it’s a mothers new found love for her infant or two souls promising to cherish each other for the rest of their days, I hope I am lucky enough to photograph your moments too.

I'm a fine art, wedding and portrait photographer from Tampa, Florida who now resides just outside of Raleigh, NC. I shoot in digital format now, but I spent four years developing my own film and prints in a dark room and still occasionally shoot with traditional film. While I enjoy shooting anything from landscapes to food-- I have a passion for photographing people. I love the imperfections, the scars and the crooked smiles. Every portrait should tell a story and its all of those imperfections and quirks that make you, well you.

My mission is to capture each individuals personality in each and every photograph that I take. To create timeless pieces of art, that can be treasured in families for generations. I want to give you back precious moments that are so often take for granted, and allow you to relive them through my art.

I love traveling all over the country (and occasionally the world) to photograph milestones and events. I have been blessed with a husband who loves to travel as much as I do and we are often accompanied our spoiled beagle.

So take a look through my galleries, and if you like what you see give me a call or drop me a line, I would love to hear from you.

Cheers, Victoria N.
